The KK will be the first to be completed in full, to benefit part of citizens who have already paid the state and are waiting for the housing.

Three New Cities Under Construction

The announcement was made in the national capital on March, 2014 by the president of SONIP, Orlando Veloso, of a visit paid to 3 new cities undergoing construction within the capital of the country, “Zango oito mil (Zango Eight Thousand)”, “KK cinco mil (KK 5 Thousand)” and “CIF cinco mil (CIF 5 Thousand)”, totalling 18,000 houses.

The new Zango is being engineered on an area of ​​416 hectares. It includes eight thousand economic units of combined models, of that 2,780 single-family dwellings (including twin houses) and 5,220 buildings.

Different from this public housing, the “KK 5 thousand” occupies a neighborhood of ​​75 hectares and is characterised as a public housing composed of 188 buildings, in a total of 5 thousand residences, distributed by 2 blocks.
